Kathmandu . Revolutionary Communist Party of Nepal (RCPN) condemned the murder of Basavaraj , General Secretary of Indian Communist Party(Maoist) including 27 caders on may 21. The Acting General Secretary of RCPN, Gaurav has issued a Message of Condolence on May 22 ,2025. The Message of Condolence is as below –
The cowardly murder of 27 comrades, including the General Secretary Comrade Nambala Keshav Rao , ῾Basavaraj᾽,of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) by the Indian state on may 21 ,2025,in Narayanpur,the bordering area of Chhattisgadh and Telangana states ,has outraged our party . We strongly condemn fascist act of the Modi Government and offer our imotional homage and proletarian internationalist salute to Comrade Basavaraja and other comrade who attend martyrdom in this murder. Also , our party strongly condemns the extremely intolerant and fascist statement that “ our government is committed to elimineting the menace of Maoism ”,made public by Indian Prime Minister Modi . At this distressful moment,we express our deepest condolences to the Central Committee of the CPI(Maoist ),all party members ,the People᾿s Liberation Guerrilla Army,the Indian proletariat, and the broad revolutionary masses , including their bereaved family members. We express our strong solidarity with the CPI (Moist) in contuing to advance the revolutionary process of defending apllying and developing the world communist movement and its guiding ideology Maxism – Leninism- Maoism .
